Tasting Notes; Elegant and refined wine, rather subtle, leaving a long and pleasant memory, above all, of balsamic sensations that remind us of its character and Mediterranean origin, combined with a certain fruitiness and balance of other elements, which give it frankness. The mineral sensations, in the nose, associated with the slate or charcoal, and in the mouth, associated with a touch of salt, refer to its origin and priority, which, linked to the sensations felt in the mouth, make this wine with its own personality and a friendly and persistent finish.
Pairing tips; Due to its own acidity, typical of any Priorat wine, this wine combines well with pork dishes rich in fat, combined with mashed potatoes or legumes (chickpeas, lentils ...). Like other red wines, it also goes well with white (rabbit, chicken ...) and red (beef ...) meats, stews or grilled. Its versatility also makes it ideal for accompanying cold meats, pâtés, a good pasta dish, and even certain cheeses, especially beef, when the wine is at its best.
