About Mas de la Caçadora (Guiamets) Rebel winery

Mas de la Caçadora was founded at the end of 2003 by a group of wine-loving friends, all with ties to the Village of Els Guiamets and the Priorat region. Joan Pujades, manager of the winery, has a long experience in the wine sector, as well as a family wine tradition.

Located in the town of Els Guiamets, the winery has a capacity of 350 Hl and produces white wines, rosé wines, more than five reds, sparkling, and several dessert wines. All the products that they make at Mas de la Caçadora come from their own vineyards, combining the care of old vines with modern plantation techniques, in all of them they apply criteria of not using chemical products, using a minimum intervention, and committed to treatments and ecological cultivation methods, seeking the maximum balance between the plantations and the environment.

The wines from Mas de la Caçadora take us through the land where they are made, strongly shaped by the climate and the terroir. They go hand in hand with Joan's idea of what "winemaking" should be, and his taste in honest yet extremely well-finished products.

About Solà i Clàssic (Bellunt del Priorat) DOQ Priorat

The tight link between the Barceló family and the land is not only historic but is also the main reason for which they decided to strengthen the bind by opting to recover the true Priorat spirit – the wine which was once so popular with the locals. Today we encounter Solà Classic, a traditional elixir with true identity and personality. The classic and traditional merge with ecology, and modern technology to offer an exquisite round and balanced red wine to a connoisseur market.

All our wines are elaborated with traditional methods, beginning with manual harvesting, where every bunch of grapes is carefully separated from the vine and deposited in hempen baskets. Later the grapes will be manually selected following the criteria of the oenologist to become the base of the Solà Classic coupage.

Day after day, we pamper the land, select the best grapes, and work the vineyards with the fondness and the respect that they deserve, just like our forbears did, so as not to lose the noble character of our Priorat wines and therefore, year after year we can guarantee a future and offer our best and most exclusive selection of Solà Classic wines.
