Fresh and fruity, yet elegant and light, with scents of mature red fruit, especially of cherry and hints of sweet spices. Elegant and flavored wine with lovely intensity of ripe red fruit on the palate and finishing with a long and lovely toasty touch.
Description
100% Trepat. This wine is composed of three small vineyards, the total area of which does not reach 4 has. We also want to highlight that age varies between 80 and 100 years. Each property has different characteristics and this is reflected in the way of caring for them. A concentrated and healthy grape is the basis for this wine. To achieve this, we preserve the ecosystem of the vineyards, we work the vines to prevent possible diseases, we treat them only when it is necessary and only with Sulphur and Copper. Handpicked in boxes. Manual selection of the grapes. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Macerated for about 45 days. Malolactic spontaneously in barrels of 300-500 L. Aged in Burgundy barrels from 225L-600L capacity during about 9 months, depending on the vintage. Very low dose of sulfites. 4000 bottles.
