El Penjat, tronjó (orange liqueur)

Description

Penjat commonly called "Tronjó", is an orange liqueur made following a very special homemade recipe that we have recovered so that it does not fall into oblivion.

The recipe consists in hanging the oranges over alcohol in a recipient, without them coming into contact. The alcohol vapors capture the aroma, taste, and color of the orange slowly and without touching each other.

Ingredients

Made using the highest quality ingredients: oranges from Terres de l'Ebre, 100% alcohol made from wheat, and fair trade sugar.

Tasting notes

Golden in color and subtle orange aroma, due to the maceration process. In the mouth, the citrus taste takes center stage, in perfect balance between the sweetness and the alcohol level.
