La Penjada is the first cooperative ratafia, made with flavored wine alcohol following the traditional "tronjó" method.
Before adding the essential ingredients of all Catalan ratafias (green walnuts, aromatic plants, and spices) we flavor the alcohol by hanging suspended oranges on top. An innovative recipe that gives it its unique character.

At first sight, it has the usual appearance of a common ratafia, but the surprises come with the taste.
With a citrus aroma on the nose and a fresh entry in the mouth, it unfolds over time a balanced contrast between the bitterness of the walnut and the presence of aromatic plants. The low amount of sugar makes it ideal for sharing on any occasion.
